primary stevedoring operation at the Port of Albany/Rensselaer
was recently acquired by Federal Marine Terminals, Inc.,which
is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fednav Limited of Montreal. This
now makes the Port of Albany part of the FMT family of terminal

The workforce at the
Port of Albany/Rensselaer are members of the International Longshoremans
Association. The Ports workforce is stable, experienced
and drug-free. The contract between Federal Marine Terminals and
the ILA offers shippers very flexible starting and working times
as well as very competitive rates.
Grain shipments for
Cargill, Inc. at the Port of Albany are handled by Rogers Terminals.
